MWFP GE Refrigerator SmartWater Water Filter

This is an OEM GE refrigerator water filter identified with part number MWFP. The MWF “P” is the latest version of the MWF water filter that a very common water filter that is used by General Electric. This line of water filters by General Electric are known as the smartwater filters. Additionally, this water filter is a "PHARMACEUTICAL" grade filter. This filter replaces the GWF metal canister water filter. If you are replacing a Culligan metal canister water filter you will need to purchase part number “ADAPTER” which will help you install this MWF into your refrigerator. This filter should be replaced every 6 months and helps reduce up to 94 percent of contaminants including lead, chlorine and asbestos out of your drinking water.
